Enrollment Process

An application for any potential student must first be filled out online (see link below) or downloaded, filled out, and emailed directly to the school. Any questions or concerns regarding the application can be emailed directly to the school and will be addressed in a timely manner. The application is found below.  

Under the Universal ESA Act, every student in the state of Arizona is eligible for a Full-Ride Empowerment Scholarship through the Dept. of Education's ESA Program. This can be used to cover the complete cost of tuition at Empowerment Academy! If the family has not already applied for ESA funds for their student, please do so immediately. The decision to disenroll from public school and receive ESA funds is not final until signing the ESA contract, so apply now!

Before a student can enroll in classes, two contracts must be signed. One by the parent(s) and one by the student. The parent contract is attached to the application.

Once an application has been submitted, the applicant will be notified via email and/or phone within 2 business days as to whether or not they have been admitted into Empowerment Academy.

Parents and students will meet with an empowerment counsellor to discuss and choose a curriculum for their student. More information on programs can be found on the Our Programs page, and curriculum specific info on the Course Type Description page. Please review this info with your student before meeting with an empowerment councilor, and be sure to write down questions you would like to ask. 

As soon as ESA funds are available, tuition payments must be set up. Generally, these payments are made quarterly, coinciding with the release of ESA funds. View our Tuition Page for pricing info.

If tuition is being paid out of pocket, it is the same cost for Annual, Semi-Annual, or Quarterly payments. Monthly payments require an upfront payment of $2000, then the rest will be divided evenly for the remaining 9 months of school.

As soon as tuition payments are set up, students are eligible to be enrolled in their selected programs.
